We’re a husband-and-wife team who loves all things real estate, design, and construction. Through Team Bassett Realty, we help buyers and sellers navigate real estate while bringing something a little different to the table—years of hands-on experience in home staging, interior and exterior design, renovations, home improvement, and custom building. We don’t just sell houses; we understand them, see their potential, and love helping others do the same. We’ve spent years renovating and transforming homes, repurposing old materials, dreaming up big ideas, and taking on projects that others might think are a little crazy. Along the way, our two boys have grown up right beside us, learning the trades, picking up tools, building things, and developing plenty of ideas of their own. For us, real estate and construction really are a family affair. One of our favorite projects was converting a school bus into a home—check it out in our projects!
A mechanic by trade, a carpenter by his love of houses, and a real estate professional with an eye for what a property can become. George has spent more than a decade working with homes—from buying and selling real estate to renovations, construction, finish work, and millwork. His hands-on experience gives him a unique perspective when helping clients evaluate a property, recognize its potential, and understand what it may take to make it their own. He enjoys repurposing materials, designing and planning renovations, and finding creative solutions both in real estate and construction. When he’s not working on a house or involved with buyers or sellers, you’ll probably find him drawing up his next project, tinkering in the garage, or wrestling and reading with the boys.
Heather lives and breathes real estate and design. She loves seeing the potential in a property, designing renovations, staging and decorating homes, and helping clients see possibilities they may not have considered. She especially enjoys working alongside George on their latest projects—and usually dreaming up the next one before the current one is finished. When she’s not talking real estate with buyers or sellers or house hunting, you might find her reading, teaching a class at a local college, cooking, or planning her next design project.
